You may be thinking that it is just too complicated to actually learn how to paint. A quick look at the following is most likely to confirm this opinion. I have yet to find an advanced painting course where people are not very excited about the subject. However, most art students are just getting started.
You may also have been to the Painting Forum and been intrigued by the extensive knowledge that exists there. The painting forum has a large and quite diverse user base, with lots of experienced paint-takers and newbies alike.
The Painting Thread is usually full with people discussing all sorts of subjects, from general painting tips to how to best use all the materials that you are currently using. The Painting Thread can be a wonderful source of information and discussion, and as with the forum as a whole, it is important to remember that people are human and have their own opinions.

USAREUR, N.D. — The U.S. Army recently selected North Dakota State University to construct a “World of Warcraft®”-themed dormitory and exercise facility in Brookings.
The $10 million project, known on campus and throughout campus as the National Training and Education Center (NTEC), is slated for completion in January 2018. It will be the first military-related residence or fitness center on campus.
“We’re very pleased that the Army has recognized our commitment to developing an exemplary Military Learning Community,” said NDSU President David Blouin. “NC State has been a true partner and partner in the development of this project, and we’re looking forward to sharing the new facilities with the men and women who will be able to utilize our training facilities for training as well as academics.”
This award was announced Oct. 18 by U.S. Army Chief of Staff Gen. Mark Milley at the NDSEU Annual Executive Conference.
The project was developed through a competitive process that included input from stakeholders, military commanders, and faculty, students and staff from NDSU’s academic and recreation programs. The final award recipients were announced Oct. 22 through a campus ceremony.
