The method of making the signs here is similar to the steps on this page. You’ll use a hot glue gun like one you’ve seen with some of our other wood and metal stuff. I’m using an old set I use a ton because it had the big nozzle, but I love this thing.

After you have made the signs, make sure they are ready to place on your garage door.
Now attach the signs to the garage door.
Place the signs in their proper spots. I like to let my signs hang over doorways and behind cars so I don’t have to take them every day.
I like to have a couple signs above the door. This way you know it will get dry and won’t dry out quickly, which can be a problem for some people. If you just hung one sign here, your door would still be dry out. If you have more than one sign above, you might wish to use a spray adhesive.
I usually use a spray adhesive because it’s easy to get, it’s waterproof, and comes in a convenient bottle to put around the door, which means you can put them next to the door without having to put them in the right spot.

Place it.
Attach the spray glue.
Repeat.
I’ll be on vacation for the next few months so these signs are not going anywhere.
I love how this makes a rustic wood garage sign look more rustic. I made these at about 30 degrees Celsius. I’d be interested in some advice on how I could make these at lower temperatures.
