As the days of spring draw near, it is important to plant saffron bulbs during the hottest time of the year.
This helps maintain the plant’s health and protect it from frost damage. In addition, the light exposure, humidity and temperature should be warm enough to allow the saffron to absorb all the moisture you are giving it as well as provide plenty of light and light conditions.
Planting saffron bulbs should be done during the springtime (spring and early summer months), while the flowers are still green but not fully blossoming.
Once a year (spring), you can harvest saffron bulbs but please take them to your local flower shop as soon as they are grown.

An estimated 40 percent of the world’s population is overweight. A lot of the world’s obese people are young children. For example, the World Health Organization claims that about 2 million American children a day have a BMI above 18.5. This means that even a small percentage of a child’s weight may lead them to medical problems later in life. And because most children are underweight at the start of puberty, even small increases in body weight can put them at risk.
The CDC’s BMI-based classification of obesity is based on self-report and not on objective measurements of body fat, such as fat mass. The CDC, which developed the classification system in 1992, acknowledges the problems with BMI, which are detailed in its most recent revision.
