How do I become an accountability coach? – Life Coaching Business Books

It’s all about getting the right mindset.

Here are a few things to consider:

How do your life and your company’s life look today?

Do you feel like things are headed in a good directions?

Are you in a place where you have a good number of responsibilities around the things you care about?

Do you think that you could be leading the best-organized team and business today?

If you answered yes to at least two of those questions, you’re going to want to get into it.

There are a huge number of accountability-related skills, including:

Leading a team

Leading a team learning from the best

Managing a team and management

Organizing and scheduling meetings

Planning and budgeting

Making decisions

Communicating effectively

It only takes one or two habits to develop a habit of regularly and regularly reporting your success to others as you get things done. If you can’t be accountable, nothing else matters.

A habit of making monthly and annual progress reports is a really good start.

How do you make sure you don’t fall into a rut of doing the same thing over and over?

Make some great decisions with little warning

One of the things that makes you really happy about your performance is the sense that you made great decisions. What makes you happy in the work you do is to make decisions with little warning.

Let’s say that over the course of your career you’ve made two major decisions.

One was a really good decision; it led to a really good result, or a great result in terms of helping to reduce costs or improve customer service quality.

The second one was a terrible decision — it led to a terrible result. Now, a lot of us have had bad ideas that we later regretted — and a lot of us have had really bad decisions that we later regretted — the bottom line is that, you know what? That’s fine. It means one thing: We’re going to make more good decisions in the future because we’re smarter now.

One of the most valuable skills to develop as an accountability coach is to be able to get up in the morning and write out a list and say, “Okay, I’m going to make this list. How am I going to get rid of this little process that I’m going to have to deal with in order to do this work successfully.
