You have to use a little digging to get accurate numbers though, so to that end the following method will help you get an idea of what the average YouTube hit is for the average user.
Method 1: Google AdWords Conversion Rate Calculator
This is probably the safest conversion rate method used by advertisers. With adwords you can determine what your ad spend is going to be. For the sake of simplicity, I’m going to be using a conversion rate from Google AdWords of 5%.
First, enter the Google Adwords conversion rate into the calculator and press the “Calculate” button. This will convert the total amount of impressions to a cost per impression value. You will see that your Adwords conversion rate is only 5%. I’d recommend using this conversion rate if you want to maximize your total spend rather than only converting impressions into cost per impression.
Second, click on the “Ad clicks conversion rate” tab.
Here, you have the total number of different AdWords campaigns that have been running against your website since August 1, 2014. It shows your AdWords Ad click conversion rate. If you don’t have the Ad clicks conversion rate for a particular campaign, simply click on the “Search Keywords & phrases Conversion” tab in order to enter the search keywords that have made up the campaign

If you don’t have the Ad clicks conversion rate for a particular campaign, simply click on the “Top Conversion Keywords & phrases” tab in order to enter the search keywords that have led those AdWords campaigns to success.
