And there’s nothing wrong with that, right? This tutorial is all about how to build a good editor as an indie. To be honest, the only thing that was ever really required was a decent knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro (which this is mostly not). However, if you have little to no experience, I encourage you to just keep going.

Now, with that said, I think a lot of you should get your money’s worth with this tutorial. However, to make sure you still can, here’s the first section of how I did it:

Step 1 – Getting Started

When it comes to getting started with editing and video production, the first thing I did was learn how to use Adobe Premiere Pro, as well as any other Adobe software I wanted to use. But, there are a ton of great video editing programs out there, so how do I choose which one I want to use? My biggest concern is getting the right plugin. The problem is, not all plugins are created equal. Sometimes, you just have to trust your ears. In my case, I have a choice of a number of plugins, including Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro (among other companies), which should cover the majority of my needs (for a lot of video editing tasks). However, what you end up with doesn’t always exactly match the type of person I am. If you can, get as much technical info as you can on each plugin and make sure that what you’re getting is exactly what you want.
